6. USING THE COMPUTER
INSERTING THE BATTERIES
1.
Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the monitor.
2.
Heeding correct polarity, insert 2 AA batteries into the compartment and replace the
cover.
3.
When the display shows the battery symbol, remove the batteries and wait 15 seconds
before inserting new ones. Dispose of empty batteries properly in accordance with
local regulations.
4.
The monitor display goes out when the batteries are removed.
FUNCTIONS AND OPERATION
AUTO ON / OFF:
•
The monitor turns on automatically when the home trainer is used. The monitor turns
off automatically if you are inactive for a period of 2 minutes.
•
If you stop training for 4 seconds, measurement pauses and the display shows
"STOP". As soon as you start training again, measurement starts again automatically
and the display no longer shows "STOP".
SCAN:
•
Press the MODE button to select the TIME (time) function. "SCAN" appears on
the left side of the display. The LCD display now shows all functions and values in
succession. Each function is shown for approx. 6 seconds.
•
Press the MODE button in scan mode to make "SCAN" disappear from the display.
The currently selected function is displayed permanently.
•
If you want to reselect scan mode, press the MODE button to select the TIME (time)
function. "SCAN" appears on the left side of the display.
•
In scan mode, "SCAN" flashes continuously on the left side of the display.
TIME:
•
Automatically measures the time as soon as training begins.
•

SPEED:
•
Shows the current training speed.
•
0.0–99.9 KM/H (ML/H)
DISTANCE:
•
Shows the distance covered during training.
•
0.00–99.99 KM (ML)
ODOMETER (TOTAL DISTANCE):
•
Shows the total distance covered.
•
0–9999 KM (ML)
•
Replacing the batteries will reset the distance to 0.
CALORIES:
•
Shows the calories consumed during training. This is an approximate value.
