1.4 Activating the SMS function in the
display
Go into the installation menu. Select "Advanced/Defi ne/Heating circuit x/
Room sensor - Yes"
Activating the mobile phone.
In order for CTC SMS to receive commands from a mobile phone, the
number of the phone must be activated in the CTC SMS module.
Enter "activatenumber" in your mobile phone and send the message to the
number of the SIM card in your CTC SMS module
NB: Your mobile number must not be withheld from the recipient.
When a mobile phone is activated, CTC SMS responds with a text: "SMS
control activated".

The SMS message will be sent to the number of the
SIM card in the CTC SMS module.
When the mobile phone is activated with the "activatenumber" command,
the phone number will be displayed under "Advanced/Defi ne/SMS".
You can have a maximum of 2 numbers activated. Repeat the procedure for
the other number.
The menu shows:
• Level of signal
• Activated mobile phones
EN
• CTC SMS hardware/software version
The following alarms from CTC SMS will be displayed
• No contact with CTC SMS
• Failed to send SMS message
• SIM card missing or PIN code active
• No signal or valid GSM network
Note: The SMS function can be activated in the languages supported by the
display. Other commands must be entered in the language the display is set
to. SMS messages will be sent in the specifi ed language.
