5.4 - Change of configuration - IRO TECHNOLOGY®
5.4.1 - Optimo Ultra 12x S35 to U35 or U35 to S35.
1.
Unscrew the mount attaching ring
2. Remove the PL mount or the rear subassembly in place
3. Remove the cap from the PL mount or the rear subassembly
4. Use the cap to protect the PL mount or the removed rear subassembly
5. Insert the PL mount or the rear subassembly by aligning the pin with
the notch of the mount
6. Position the zoom ring at wide angle and iris ring at full close
7. Remove the control levers (if necessary)
8. With a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the 6 screws (20 ; Figure 19) on the
back S35 or U35
9. Remove Iris ring (6 ; Figure 20)
10. With an Allen key 1.5mm, unscrew the 4 screws (21 ; Figure 21)
11. Remove the fixed marker (5 ; Figure 22)
12. With an Allen key 1.5mm, unscrew the 6 screws (22; Figure 23) and
remove the 6 screws (22; Figure 24) and the 6 washers (26; Figure 24)
13. Remove the zoom ring (4 ; Figure 24)
14. Position the new zoom ring by aligning the engraving of the short focal
length with the front fixed marker.
15. With an Allen key 1.5mm, set the 6 washers (26 ; Figure 24) and screw
the 6 screws (22 ; Figure 23)
16. Check that the zoom ring is at wide angle and position the fixed marker
(5; Figure 22) opposite the WA mark.
17. With an Allen key 1.5mm, screw the 4 screws (21 ; Figure 21)
18. Position the new iris ring by aligning the FC mark with the fixed marker
19. With a Phillips screwdriver, screw the 6 screws (20 ; Figure 19) on the
rear S35 or U35.
20. Change the focus ring (see paragraph 4.4)

Dévissez l'écrou d'accrochage

Retirez la monture PL ou le sous-ensemble arrière en place
Retirez le ou les bouchons de la monture PL ou du sous-ensemble

Positionnez les bagues de l'objectif en position courte focale et

Retirez les leviers de commandes (si nécessaire)

Avec un tournevis cruciforme, dévissez les 6 vis (20 ; Figure 19) sur

Retirez la bague iris (6 ; Figure 20)

Avec une clé Allen 1,5 mm, dévissez les 4 vis (21 ; Figure 21)

Retirez le repère fixe (5 ; Figure 22)
12.
Avec une clé Allen 1,5 mm, dévissez les 6 vis (22 ; Figure 23) et retirer
les vis (22 ; Figure 24) et les rondelles (26; Figure 24)
13.
Retirez la bague focale (4 ; Figure 24)
14.
Positionnez la nouvelle bague focale en alignant la gravure de la courte
focale sur le repère fixe avant.
Avec une clé Allen 1.5 mm, positionner les 6 rondelles (26 ; Figure 24)
15.
et revissez les 6 vis (22 ; Figure 23)
Vérifiez que la bague focale est en butée courte focale et Positionnez
16.
le repère fixe (5 ; Figure 22) en face de la gravure CF.
Avec une clé Allen 1.5 mm, revissez les 4 vis (21 ; Figure 21)
17.
Positionnez la nouvelle bague iris en alignant le repère FC sur le repère
18.

Avec un trounevis cruciforme, revissez les 6 vis (20 ; Figure 19) sur

l'arrière S35 ou U35.
Changez la bague MAP (voir paragraphes 4.4)
