6.4 Resin cycle (only for models equipped with water softener)
During the execution of the regeneration cycle it is not possible to carry out any operation. Any operations must be
always performed with the tank empty.
Refilling the supply of regenerating salt (for models equipped with water
softeners)
Perform the salt refill when there is no water in the tank in order to prevent that
the wash's water leaking into the softener device; always unplug the power cable
from the socket before performing the operation. Remember to plug the power cable
back into the socket after having performed the operation.
Caution: Use only specific salt. Do not use table salt.
The salt tank has a capacity of about 1 kg of granulated salt.
The salt tank is situated at the bottom of the wash tank. After having extracted the
rack, unscrew the cap and pour the salt through the provided funnel. Before
screwing the cap back in place, remove any left over salt residues in proximity to the
opening.
Open the door remove the over flow pipe and close the door
Turn the machine off by pushing the on/off button
models with discharge pump it stays on for about 100
seconds until the tank is completely emptied. During the
discharge of the tank the cycle warning lamp will light up to
signal that the tank discharge is running.
Push the cycle/regeneration button for 3 seconds
, the regeneration cycle starts and the warning lamp
lights up. After 20 minutes the regeneration cycle ends and
the machine stays in stand by: open the door, replace the over
flow pipe and close the door again. Turn off the main switch
on the wall.
PLEASE NOTE: if the door is opened during the regeneration
cycle the cycle goes into pause and the warning lamp flashes.
When the door is closed again the regeneration cycle starts
back up from the point where it was stopped.
If during the regeneration cycle the on/off button is activated,
the regeneration cycle is nullified and the machine starts up
the filling of the tank.
PLEASE NOTE: if during the tank discharge phase and
regeneration start up the over flow pipe is forgotten in the tank
the discharge pump activates by itself for about 100 seconds
to then deactivate itself automatically. The cycle warning lamp
will flash to signal the failed emptying of the tank, in the same
way that the regeneration warning lamp will flash to signal that
the regeneration cycle has not taken place. To reset, turn off
the main switch on the wall for 10 seconds.
