6 RESET ENABLE
Reset key and Reset input (terminal 7)
enable input: when terminal 6 is connect-
ed to GND (< 2 V), the key or the Reset
input (terminal 7) allows resetting the
blinking display and the output (terminal
8)
7 RESET
When terminal 7 input is activated by
terminal 6 input (connected to GND,
< 2 V), the key or the Reset input (termi-
nal 7) allows resetting the blinking display
and the terminal 8 output. The display
shows for 4 s the new preselection value
and then switches to the current counter
value. If the Reset input (either the key or
the terminal 7 input) is activated within
these 4 s, the counter is reset to its facto-
ry setting (dynamic input).

3.2.2.1 Functions of the front key
When the Reset key is enabled, the Reset is trig-
gered when the front key is released, or with the
rising edge of the Reset input on terminal 7. The
device is reset immediately to the factory setting
when the key is depressed again or at the second
negative edge on terminal 7.
Display and reading mode
When the Reset key is not enabled by means of the
activation input on terminal 6, depressing the key
allows the user to call up the following functions.
Depress 1x:
The display shows the message "SErViCE"
Depress 2x:
The display shows the next service value
Depress 3x:
The display shows the message "PrESErVv
Depress 4x:
The display shows the next pre-service value
Depress 5 x
The display shows the current counter value.
