yourself. Contact a qualified appliance repair technician if the product requires servicing.
CARE & CLEANING
CAUTION: Never immerse the motor base, plug or cord in water or in any other liquid.
Unplug the blender before cleaning.
Whenever possible, rinse jar, lid and measuring cap immediately after blending to make cleanup easier.
CAUTION: Use extreme care when cleaning the blending jar blades. Do not touch the blades with your
fingers. The blades are very sharp and can cause injury if touched.
For quick cleanups in between batches, fill the jar 1/4 full with clean, warm water and a small amount
of dishwashing soap. Press SMOOTHIE. After 45 seconds, when the SMOOTHIE function is complete,
the blender will turn OFF. Rinse jar and blades well. Rinse lid and measuring cap separately.
If necessary, soak jar in soapy water for 10 to 15 minutes. Use a small nylon bristle brush to remove
processed food from the blades and the blade area.
CAUTION: Never use rough scouring pads or abrasive cleansers on any plastic or metal parts as
the surface may be damaged.
WARNING: The jar is NOT RECOMMENDED for the dishwasher. The lid and measuring cap are toprack
dishwasher safe.
The motor base may be wiped with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry thoroughly.
WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE THE MOTOR BASE IN WATER.
STORING
Unplug the blender before storing.
Store in original box or in a clean, dry place.
Never store the blender while it is hot or plugged in.
Wrap the cord in the cord storage area located on the bottom of the base.
Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance. Never place any stress on cord, especially where the cord
enters the motor base, as this could cause the cord to fray and break.
