SLEEP MODE
The measuring cap can be used to measure and add dry or liquid ingredients. Replace when done.
Choose any function to begin blending.
IMPORTANT: Make sure the jar has been properly placed onto the motor base before blending.
If the jar is not placed onto the base, the blender will not operate and a beep will be emitted.
Once blending has been completed, remove the lid from the jar. The spout makes pouring easy.
HINT! A small spatula is helpful for removing thick blended foods.
Press on the ON/OFF switch and unplug the blender when not in use and before cleaning.
BLEND
From the main menu, press (+) to BLEND. A beep can be heard to indicate that it is active. The (+)
will remain illuminated and the blender will continuously blend at 1 (•) LOW speed. This 60 second cycle
will automatically stop once the full time has elapsed. The timer will display the elapsed time during
the cycle. (See Figure 5). Press STOP at any time to stop the cycle.
FIGURE 5
Begin processing at 1 (•) LOW until ingredients are thoroughly combined. Press (+) to increase the
speed. (See Figure 6). A beep can be heard as the speed lights display the current speed. Speeds can
be changed while the blender is in operation — from 1 (•) LOW to 2 (••) MIX to 3 (•••) BLEND to
4 (••••) PUREE to 5 (•••••) HIGH speed.
Press (–) to reduce speed. Press (+) to increase to higher speeds as needed. (See Figure 7)

and shake ingredients to redistribute.

FIGURE 8
From the main menu, press PULSE. A beep can be heard. The blender will PULSE at 5 (•••••) HIGH

the number of PULSES from 1 to 99. (See Figure 8)
IMPORTANT! Press STOP at any time to turn the blender OFF.
NOTE: After 30 seconds of inactivity, the smart-touch controls will fade and the blender will enter into

ICE CRUSH
FIGURE 9
This 60 second cycle crushes 12 large ice cubes.
For best results, remove ice cubes from freezer immediately before crushing.
Make sure the measuring cap is in position on the lid. To prevent the unit from traveling across
the working surface, it may be necessary to place one hand firmly on the lid to provide unit stability.
From the main menu, press ICE CRUSH. A beep can be heard.
The COUNTDOWN TIMER will remain illuminated, and once the cycle completes, the main menu
will appear. (See Figure 9)
Press ICE CRUSH again and continue to blend until the desired consistency has been reached.
IMPORTANT! When the desired consistency is achieved, press STOP at any time to turn
the blender OFF.
NOTE: After 30 seconds of inactivity, the smart-touch controls will fade and the blender will enter into
SLEEP mode.
