3.7 Driving forward and
backward
•
Switch on the wheelchair
Choose the desired speed value:
- With key 1, 2, 3 or 4 (A) for
controller 'DX'.
Maintain a maximum of 3
indoors or in pedestrian areas.
- With the rotary knob (D) for
controller 'Shark'.
- With the speed keys (F) on
the 'Shark seats/lights &
actuators'controler.

Push the joystick carefully forward
or backward, depending on which
direction you want to go, and the
wheelchair will begin to move.
With the joystick you can also
control the speed of the wheelchair. The
more you push the joystick forward from
the neutral position, the faster the
wheelchair goes forward or backward.
- The wheelchair reacts very quickly to
force on the joystick.
- A smooth operating characteristic is
obtained by even force on joystick.
Braking
When you release the joystick or move
it into the central position, you will
brake automatically.

Emergency stop

1. When driving forward pull the
joystick all the way backward with
one move. When reversing push
the joystick all the way forward with
one move.
2. Immediately release the joystick
when the wheelchair has come to a
standstill.
