v. Cover should be thoroughly dried before placing back on the product.
vi. Line dry cover completely before using.
8. Perform the following steps to clean the power unit and hose fittings:
A. Wipe all controls, chassis and hose fittings with a quaternary disinfectant solution.
B. Gently clean all crevices as they can harbor microorganisms.
C. Air dry all treated surfaces.
9. Perform the following steps to clean the mattress:
A. Using a clean sponge or paper towel, wipe down the mattress with a dilute detergent solution of quaternary cleaner disinfectant or other
germicidal detergent solution.
B. Wipe the mattress with a clean dry cloth.
 The active insert may also be wiped down using a solution of neutral detergent and hot water, applied with a single use wipe.
The power unit, tubing and main lead may be wiped over with a neutral detergent.
Disinfection
Ensure that any residual detergent has been removed prior to disinfection. A 0.1% chloride solution (1,000 ppm) can be used. Alternatively, where
required, a 1% chloride solution (10,000 ppm) can be used. When covers are immersed in solutions of hypochloride, contact should be maintained
for at least 30 minutes. Ensure that the cover is rinsed with clean water using a damp single use wipe, and thoroughly dried. Where combined cleaning
and disinfection products are used, ensure that the cover is rinsed with clean water using a damp single use wipe, and thoroughly dried.
