Connecting the Power Supply (SRS3080PS)
CAUTION
Ensure that the power cord of the power unit is not pinched, or has any objects placed on it, and also ensure it is not
located where it can be stepped on or tripped over.
For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 3 on page 16.
1.
Examine the power supply (SRS3080PS) cord supplied with the power unit.
2.
Perform one of the following:
•
If the power cord is damaged - Call your supplier for a replacement power supply, ref SRS3080PS (UE15WCP, VEP15US, FW7660M).

If the power cord is not damaged - Plug the end of the supplied power supply into the power outlet on the side of the power unit (Detail "B").

Power supply is 12 volt transformer and does not require ground where it connects to outlet on the wall.

Switch on the main power and the power unit (Detail "C").
Once the power is turned on, the system will start to pressurize, indicated by a green LED (System in Cycle) and three audible
beeps. Once operating pressure is reached the green light will be permanently illuminated and the power unit will emit two short
beeps.
To greatly reduce shearing and friction and to prolong the life of the mattress, Invacare recommends the use of the auto-contour feature
when positioning the patient to a seating position. Also, use the auto-contour feature when repositioning the patient to a lying down
position.
The external power supply or adapter is used as the disconnect device and shall be readily operable.
