Belt drive RT 40

Assembly of the belt drive
1. Fig. 8: Fasten housing (7) on bearing housing of WH 40, using an adapter plate (9).
2. Put synchronous sprocket (4) with DKWN-tension set, inside diameter 8 mm (5), on
drive shaft of WM 40.
3. Attach drive motor with adapter flange (12) on housing. Do not tighten the screws yet.
4. Synchronous sprocket (10) with DKWN-tension set, inside diameter 14 mm (11), on
motor shaft.
5. Wrap toothed belt (3) upon both synchronous sprockets while lining them up. Afterwards
fix synchronous sprockets with DKWN-tension sets upon drive shaft and motor shaft (for
fastening torques see table on page 28). Distance between top edge of housing and
synchronous sprocket 2,5 mm (see figure 8).
Tightening the belt drive:
1. Fig. 8: Tighten toothed belt by shifting the motor with adapter flange (12).
2. Screw cover plate (2) on housing.
