Mounting a linear drive unit
The linear drive unit is fixed by means of mounting brackets (KAO brackets) fitted to the
aluminium tubular section.
The tubular section must always be fastened to level surfaces.
Standard parallelism <0.01mm per 100mm.
The linear drive unit must be aligned to comply with the requirements of the intended use.
The following procedure is suggested:

Fig. 4: Loosen the relevant mounting bracket.

Align the linear unit and/or mounting bracket accordingly, and refasten. If necessary:

Loosen other mounting brackets and repeat the procedure.
The full moment carrying capacity is only available if the distance between the KAO brackets
is max. 750 mm.
As the strain on the aluminium section is increased by the weight of a load, the
distance between the KAO strips is to be reduced in this case.
