The passage of the wiring between inside and outside can be made
through the openings in the O.E. electrical box (Figs. 70 ÷ 72).
The connection to the power supply can be made on the vehicle's
battery.
Connect the power cables coming from the battery and from the relays
on the terminal board (35 wiring diagram) of the compressor group
"A" (Fig. 73).
Position the control panel "Y" (8 wiring diagram) as shown in the
pictures (Figs. 74 - 75). For more details, see the next section.
Versions year 2016 ˃
The electronic control unit (ECU) "AB" (7 wiring diagram), the electronic
regulator "AD" of the O.E. electric fan speed of the evaporator (21
wiring diagram) and the relay and fuses group (11 ÷ 15, 22 wiring
diagram) can be placed in the dashboard, to the right, behind the O.E.
relay and fuses plate, in front of the passenger's legs (Figs. 76 ÷ 83).
The internal air temperature probe "X" (9 wiring diagram) must be
placed in an area where it can detect the internal temperature of the
cabin, for example, in the area where the electronic control unit (ECU)
"AB" is. Drill the plug located at the base of the dashboard as shown
and fix the probe (Figs. 84 ÷ 87).
CONNECTION (34 wiring diagram) TO THE O.E. ELECTRIC FAN OF THE
EVAPORATOR (Figs. 88 ÷ 92).
Locate the 4-way black O.E. connector leading to the O.E. electric fan
of the evaporator, located behind the central console, below the 24V
socket.
Cut the grey cable (H), attach the supplied terminations and connectors
and insert the supplied wiring.
Pay attention when connecting the coloured cables GN and A
(34 wiring diagram).
The connection to the + key (10 electrical wiring diagram) can be made
in the area to the right of the dashboard, above the O.E. relay and fuse
plate, in front of the passenger's legs. Locate the blue 21-way O.E.
connector, intercept the white cable (B) as shown in the picture, cut
it and connect one end to the grey-red cable (HR) supplied with the
wiring, then use the supplied terminations and connectors to restore
the connection (Figs. 93 ÷ 97 and wiring diagram).
The passage of the wiring between inside and outside can be made
through the openings in the O.E. electrical box (Figs. 98 ÷ 102).
The connection to the power supply (positive pole) can be made in the
fuse box near the battery, the connection to the ground (negative pole)
can be made in the point intended for ground connections (Figs. 103 ÷
106 and wiring diagram).
Connect the power cables coming from the fuse box and from relays
on the terminal board (35 wiring diagram) of the compressor group
"A" (Fig. 107).
Position the control panel "Y" (8 wiring diagram) as shown in the
pictures (Figs. 108 ÷ 112). For more details, see the next section.

CONTROL PANEL POSITIONING
control panel "Y" (Fig. 113)
The
and the system so it is important to position it somewhere that is
comfortable and easy to reach.
To allow maximum flexibility in the choice of position, we have created
an alternative fastening to the traditional mechanical fastening, to
allow positioning on various types of surface.
The special double-sided sticky tape supplies allows easy, quick and
durable fastening. Cut it to size (if necessary), remove the protective
film and glue it to the control panel; then remove the other film and
fasten everything to the chosen surface
If you want to hide the passage of the wiring of the control panel,
it is possible to make a hole in the wall
114 - D)
on which the panel is going to rest and insert the wire. The
four-way adapter supplied, must be connected to the wiring after
inserting the wire through the hole
If necessary, to avoid interference with the wiring and facilitate
the resting of the control panel on the wall or on the base, it is possible
to remove the part indicated in Fig. 113.
Complete the electrical connections between the various components
and secure the bundle of cables with zip ties.
