CHOOSING OF THE ELECTRONIC SPEED REGULATOR
OF O.E. EVAPORATOR ELECTRIC FAN
Versions year ˂ 2016
Use the electronic regulator "AC" cod. 606701022.5 (provided loose)
replacing the supplied regulator cod. 606701022.4 (provided already
connected to the wiring) (Fig. 55).
Versions year 2016 ˃
Use the electronic regulator "AD" cod. 606701022.4 (provided already
connected to the wiring) (Fig. 56).
POSITIONING
COMPONENTS – CONNECTIONS
First of all, identify the position for housing the electric and electronic
components
2016 ˃
- Figs. 76 ÷ 112).
The position of each component in relation to the others to
which they electrically connect must be compatible with the length of
the corresponding wiring.
Make the electrical connections as shown in the wiring diagram.
Versions year ˂ 2016
The electronic control unit (ECU) "AB" (7 wiring diagram), the electronic
regulator "AC" of the O.E. electric fan speed of the evaporator (21
wiring diagram) and the relay and fuses group (11 ÷ 15, 22 wiring
diagram) can be placed inside the dashboard, to the right of the central
dashboard, behind the storage compartments (Figs. 57 ÷ 59).
The internal air temperature probe "X" (9 wiring diagram) must be
placed in an area where it can detect the internal temperature of the
cabin, for example, in the area where the electronic control unit (ECU)
"AB" is. Place it into one of the slots at the base of the plastic frame and
secure it (Figs. 59 ÷ 61).
CONNECTION (32 wiring diagram) TO THE O.E. ELECTRIC FAN OF THE
EVAPORATOR (Figs. 62 ÷ 65).
On the white 21-way O.E. connector (33 wiring diagram), locate the
pink cable (S) leading to the O.E. electric fan of the evaporator and
cut it. Attach the supplied terminations and connectors and use the
supplied wiring.
Pay attention when connecting the coloured cables GN and A
(32 wiring diagram).
The connection to the + key (10 electrical wiring diagram) can be made
on the O.E. relay and fuses plate (located above the glove compartment
on the passenger side). Locate the green cable (V) as shown in the
picture, cut it and connect one end with the grey-red cable (HR) supplied
with the wiring, then use the supplied terminations and connectors to
restore the connection (Figs. 66 ÷ 69 and wiring diagram).
