Operation When an Error Message Appears
When a fatal error has occurred
Error messages, blinking or steadily lit, appear in the display window.
There are two kinds of errors, as follows.
• Fatal errors
When a fatal error occurs, the Flexicart can no longer operate. You can
only initialize the Flexicart or perform recovery operations.
• Non-fatal error
The Flexicart continues to operate.
Perform key operations according to the error that has occurred. The basic
cycle of display and key operations is as follows.
When a fatal error has occurred, the Flexicart stops and a blinking error
message indicating the cause (the most recent when a series of errors has
occurred) of the error appears.
Before resuming the operation, eliminate the cause of the error.
To eliminate the cause of the error
To eliminate the cause of an error, proceed as follows.
1
Press the CONTROL key.
Each time you press the CONTROL key, blinking messages appear
one after another, indicating the causes of errors that have occurred in
the operation of the Flexicart.
2
Eliminate the cause(s) according to displayed messages.
"RECOVER" blinks once the cause(s) has (have) been eliminated. If
you cannot eliminate the cause, follow the procedure explained in "If
you cannot eliminate the cause" on the next page.
3
Press the RECOVER key.
"IN USE" lights steadily. The Flexicart can now be operated
normally.
