2/. Remove the 2 thumbscrews that hold the valve in place and the valve will lift up to remove the
connected gas pipe and pilot.
3/. The IPI (control box) will just lift out. Be careful when lifting out as you may have to remove some
wires off the box.
4/. The fan module will also lift up and out. Be careful when removing this module as the wires are
attached to the underside of the module.
BE CERTAIN TO CHECK FOR GAS LEAKS AT ALL GAS CONNECTIONS AFTER REINSTALLATION OF VALVE.

4.0 MAINTENANCE

Service and repair should be done by a qualified service person. The appliance should be inspected
before use and at least annually by a professional service technician. More frequent cleaning may be

ventilation airflow. Do not substitute materials or use components other than factory supplied. The
appliance area must be kept clear and free from combustible materials, gasoline and other flammable
