mountings (19) for the slide rail to the saw table
at the front left and rear left using 2 screws (29)
in each case. Lugs must point towards the front
side. At the same time, make sure that the
extractor hose holder (21) is also screwed onto
the rear mounting. (Fig. 5)
Align the base frame and tighten all the screws.
With 4 Allen screws (12), secure the slide rail to
the mounting in such a way that the rail overlaps
further on the front side of the saw. (Fig. 6)
Assemble the slide as shown in Fig. 7. In doing
so, make sure that both spacers (56) are
inserted between the stop and the slide plate.
Important: Do not screw the two screws in too t
ightly. The stop must remain free moving on the
plate for the purposes of angle adjustment.
Place the slide on the slide rail from the front or
back (Fig. 8) and mount the stop screws (38) to
the rail (20) at the front and back (Fig. 11)
If there is any slackness between the slide rail
and the running bearings, then the lower bearing
must be adjusted using the screw (36), so that
the slide can glide freely.
The stop rail must move parallel to the saw table
at a distance of 1mm. To achieve this, loosely
tighten the screws (34) for the slide mountings
and adjust in such a way that there is a 1mm
gap between the rail and the saw table in every
position. Now re-tighten the mountings. (Fig. 10)
7.2 Assembling the table length extension
Screw the short side of the length extension
table (10a) loosely to the rear side of the saw
table (1) with 2 screws (44) including spacer
sleeves (45). In doing so, the spacer sleeve
must be inserted between the saw table (1) and
the length extension table (10a)! (Fig. 12)
Now tightly screw the long table supports to the
respective holes on the base frame and on the
length extension table.
Align the length extension table (10a) with the
saw table (1) so that it is flat and tighten all the
screws.
7.3 Using the chassis (Fig. 14)
To swing the chassis out, lift the saw at the back
(a) and push the wheels backwards (15) (b).
Then lower the saw again, keeping it in this
same position (c).
The saw is now standing on the wheels and be
transported by one person with the aid of the
handles (16).
Important: After transportation, the chassis (15)
must immediately be retracted in order to ensure

the saw is standing securely. To do this, return
the wheels to their starting position by following
the sequence in reverse.
7.4 Fitting / removing the saw blade guard (Fig.
15)
Mount the saw blade guard (2) on the splitter (5)
so that the screw fits through the hole (45) in the
splitter.
Do not tighten the screw (37) too far – the blade
guard must be able to move freely.
Fasten the extractor hose (14) to the extractor
adapter (16) and to the extractor socket of the
blade guard (2).
A suitable extractor system has to be connected
to the outlet of the extractor adapter (14).
To remove the saw blade guard, proceed in
reverse order.
Important!
The guard hood (2) must always be lowered
over the workpiece before you begin to cut.
7.5. Setting the splitter (Fig. 15/16/17)
Important! Pull out the power plug.
Set the blade (4) to max. cutting depth, move to
0° position and lock in place.
Remove the saw blade guard (see 7.4).
Take out the table insert (6) (see 7.6).
Slacken the fixing screw (38).
7.5.1. Setting for maximum cuts (Fig.
15/16/17)
Push up the splitter (5) until the gap between the
saw table (1) and the upper edge of the splitter
(5) is at its maximum.
The maximum distance between the saw blade
(4) and the splitter (5) is 8mm.
Re-tighten the nut (38) and mount the table
insert (6).
7.5.2. Setting for concealed cuts (Fig. 15/16/17/18)
Push down the splitter (5) to the point where the
tip of the splitter is 2 mm below the uppermost
saw tooth tip.
The distance between the splitter (5) and the
saw blade (4) should again be max.8 mm (see
Fig. 18).
Retighten the screw (38) and mount the table
insert (6).
Important! After you make a concealed cut,
be sure to refit the guard hood.
The setting of the splitter has to be checked
each time after changing the saw blade.
