Short Description

Intended Use

The loop-powered isolator is used for transmitting 0(4) ... 20 mA standard signals
with galvanic isolation between input and output. The measurement signal is trans-
mitted at a ratio of 1:1. A separate power supply is not required. The loop-powered
isolator is not free from feedback. That means that an overload of the output load
disturbs the input circuit.
The loop-powered signal splitter provides two identical outputs from one input
signal. It is not free from feedback.

Protection against Polarity Reversal

When input or output polarity are reversed and the current is too high, a resettable
fuse (PTC) trips and breaks the circuit. When polarity reversal is corrected, the fuse
will recover and current will flow again (recovery time: approx. 1 minute).

Warranty

Defects occurring within 5 years from delivery date shall be remedied free of charge
at our plant (carriage and insurance paid by sender).
