1-GENERAL INFORMATION

INTENDED USE OF THE UNIT
Attention this manual contains instructions for the exclusive use of the installer and/or professionally qualified maintenance engineer, in
compliance with the laws in force.
The user is NOT authorised to intervene on the unit.
In the event of damage to people, animals or property resulting from failure to comply with the instructions contained in the manuals
supplied with the boiler, the manufacturer cannot be held liable.

When reading this manual, pay particular attention to the parts marked with the following symbols:

The instruction manual is an integral part of the product and must be kept by the user or by the system manager.
Read the warnings contained in the manual carefully as they provide important information relating to safe installation, use and
maintenance.
Keep the manual carefully for future reference.
Installation and maintenance must be carried out in compliance with the Standards in force according to the instructions of the
manufacturer and by qualified and personnel qualified in accordance with the law.
Professionally qualified staff means with specific technical expertise in the field of components for residential heating systems, domestic
hot water production and maintenance. Staff must have the qualifications required by the law in force.
Incorrect installation or poor maintenance can cause damage to people, animals or property, for which the manufacturer is not liable.
Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance operation, disconnect the unit from the power supply using the system switch and/or
the special cut-off devices.
In the event of failure and/or malfunction of the unit, switch it off, do not attempt to repair or intervene directly. Only contact staff trained
in accordance with the law. Any product repairs must only be carried out by staff authorised by RED using original spare parts. Failure to
observe the above could compromise the safety of the unit.
To ensure the efficiency of the unit and in order for it to work properly it is crucial to have it serviced yearly by qualified staff.
If one decides not to use the unit, one must make the potentially hazardous parts harmless.
If the unit is sold or transferred to another owner, or if one moves leaving the unit behind, always make sure that the manual accompanies
the unit so that it can be used by the new owner and/or installer.
For all units with optional extras or kits (including electric ones) only use original accessories.
This unit is only intended for the use for which it was purposely designed. Any other use is to be considered incorrect and therefore
dangerous.
