PODUCT DESCRIPTION
The SPOT LIFT is a column mobile hydraulic jack, specifically designed to lift vehicles by the wheel. A 220 bar hydraulic
pump commands a hydraulic jack, a slide allows the jack to bring the load up or down. The SPOT LIFT allows working in
more ergonomic positions, by bringing the vehicle to shoulder height. The product's dimension and its 4 wheels allows
to move and manipulate the product really easily. Throught its design, it offers great stability to the load.
FUNCTION
This tool is meant for vehicle reparation: It wasn't designed to lift people. The SPOT LIFT must be used inside a working
area, protected from the elements (rain, humidity, wind, etc...). The weight of the structure and the maximum load
capacity are specified in this instruction manual. This tool was not designed for the user to operate from under the
vehicle. The lack of consideration regarding its intended function can lead to grave risks for the user and are under its
sole responsability. The user must use this tool in conformance with its function and must observe all the manufactuer's
instructions. The user must, among other things, observe the safety rules and risk prevention rules in the workplace.
The SPOT LIFT cannot be lifted, use the handles to move it around the workshop.
The manufacturer GYS does not accept responsability regarding the damages incurred to persons and
objects that are the consequence of an incorrect, improper and dangerous use of the SPOT LIFT.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
The SPOT LIFT is a movable lifting tool and thus must be used on a surface protected from bad weather. It must be
used on a flat surface, perfectly evened and capable of sustaining the load. The use and transport on a rough surface
or similar preventing the good operation is strictly forbidden.
The described operations must be conducted by responsible experts. Before installation, it requires a
clean zone free of obstacles and constraints. If using a crane, observe the safety rules specific to the
crane's operations. Do not, under any circunstances, stand under the crane during manoeuvres.

SAFETY ZONE

For optimal safety, it is advised to define a zone in which objects or walls will be at distance. All manœuvres of descent,
exit and parking must be made with utmost vigilance from the operator. In the defined zone, there must be nobody.
