Königsberg Meatballs
Portions: approx. 2
Preparation time: approx. 40 minutes
Ingredients
20 g breadcrumbs
50 g onions
1 egg
¼ 1 tsp. salt
⅛ tsp. pepper
200 g minced meat, mixed
350 g potatoes, in chunks
400 ml water
½ cube of meat stock
Caper sauce:
250 ml stock (from the meatballs)
100 ml cream
3 ml lemon juice
25 g fl our
½ tsp. salt
⅛ tsp. pepper
30 g capers, drained
Preparation
1. Peel the onions, cut them into chunks and place them in the mixing bowl.
2. Turn the dial to the TURBO position a few times and chop up the ingredients.
3. Place the breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper and minced meat into the mixing bowl.
4. Mix together for approx. 50 seconds on speed level 1.
5. Take mixture out of the mixing bowl, shape into dumplings and place them in the
intermediate base of the steaming unit.
6. Peel the potatoes, cut them up and place them in the steaming attachment.
7. Pour the water and stock cube into the mixing bowl.
8. Place on the steaming attachment and intermediate base, shut the lid on and allow
everything to cook for 25 – 30 minutes at 120°C.
9. Keep the potatoes and meatballs warm and leave the broth in the mixing bowl.
Caper sauce:
10. Add all the sauce ingredients, apart from the capers, to the broth in the mixing bowl.
11. Insert the measuring cup into the lid. Heat for approx. 3 to 4 minutes at 100°C on
speed level 1.
12. Add the capers and stir them in for 10 seconds on speed level 1.
Serve the Königsberg meatballs with the potatoes and a green salad.
