5.4 IML Spider electrode mounting and connecting

- Secure the IML Spider electrode in the IML dummy core so the labels can be properly
charged. The high voltage point should have at least 5mm of free space in order to charge
adequately. Nominal distance from the high voltage point to the labels to be charged should
be 15 mm. Several electrodes can be used on each dummy core.
- The IML Spider Electrode can be adjusted in order to mount it in the required position.
- The IML Spider Electrode can be glued into the dummy core, or it can be mounted using a
synthetic screw.
- Connect the electrode to an IML Spider output socket.
