• Do not operate the appliance on a separate timer or a separate re-
mote control system.
• This appliance is intended for use in a household and in similar ap-
plications such as
- in staff kitchens of shops, offices and other commercial areas.
It is not designed for use
- by visitors in hotels, motels and other residential facilities;
- on agricultural property;
- in bed and breakfast type environments.

Preparation

• Remove the appliance and all included accessories
from the box.
• In order to remove any production residue, clean
all accessories before initial use as described in
"Cleaning".
• Place the appliance on a stable, flat and dry surface.

Electrical Connection

• Check if the mains voltage to be applied matches
the voltage of the appliance. Refer to the rating
label for detailed specifications.
• Connect the power cord of the base (10) into a
grounded outlet.
• Place foam tank with motor/heating unit (2) onto
the base (10).

Instructions for Operation

1. Open the cover (1): Pull the cover (1) upwards
from the foam tanks (2).

2. Insertion of a stirrer: At the bottom of the tank (2)
you see the axle (6) of the stirrer (11 or12). Insert
the stirrer (11 or 12) on the axle (6) and check to
make sure it can rotate freely.
3. Filling the foam tank (2): Fill the desired quantity
of milk or a hot drink in the foam tank (2). Note the
corresponding MIN and MAX markers in the foam
tank (2) (lower MAX marker (4) for frothing milk,
upper MAX marker (3) for drinks without foam).
4. Function selection:

5. If stirring or foaming cold drinks, the button (7) is
lit continuously while the stirrers (11 and 12) stirs
drinks or foams. After about 2 minutes, the appliance
switches off automatically and the button goes out.
6. If stirring or foaming warm drinks, the button (8) is
lit continuously while the stirrers (11 and 12) stirs
drinks or foams. After the necessary temperature of
about 65°C is reached, the appliance switches off
automatically and the button goes out.
