MAINTENANCE AND CARE
Only clean the device with a soft cloth. If there is heavy
soiling, the cloth can be moistened slightly. Never use
detergents that contain solvent.
Make sure no moisture gets inside the device. As re-
gards the weather sensor, check to make sure the seal
in the battery compartment is fitted properly, especially
when you have changed the batteries.
If dust has accumulated in the opening of the sensor
cover, it can be removed with a vacuum cleaner.
Check the weather sensor and the solar sensor for
soiling on a regular basis and remove it. If the surface
of the solar cell is soiled, the weather sensor cannot be
provided with energy. If the link fails for any length of
time, replace the batteries with equivalent ones.
