The Channel Plan Editor can be used to modify the tuning frequency offset
value between ± 2.5 MHz for each channel.
Also allows users to view the complete active channel plan, using the navigation
buttons [7].
To exit the Channel Plan Editor, press the BACK option, [F1] or [F5] from the
lower selection box or the direct main menu access button [12].
To modify the rest of the channel plan settings, you must have the RM-025
software.
c) POWER AT CMTS
This sets the minimum signal level that the CMTS should receive. Permits values
between 20 and 120 dBµV.
d) UNITS
The PROMAX-25 allows selection of level measurement units between dBmV,
dBµV and dBm.
e) MAC ADRESS SELECTION
This validates the MAC code that will be used to identify the device. The
PREDEFINED option sets the code indicated in the following field as valid: MAC
ADDRESS, while MANUAL allows users to modify it using this field.

MAC ADDRESS
This allows users to enter the CMAC code that will be used to identify the device.
g) REGISTERED MODE
This selects the operating mode:
ON
The cable modem analyser works in registered mode. That is, it is
identified on the network at a logical level.
OFF
This establishes the unregistered work mode. That is, it accesses
network parameters only at a physical level.
h) PING NUMBER
This indicates the number of PINGs to transmit, from 0 to 1000.
As greater it is the number of PINGs to transmit, greater will be the transmission
time.
To exit the SETUP configuration menu and return to the main menu, press the BACK
option from the lower selection box, or the direct main menu access button [12].
4.2.3 LOGGER (ACQUISITION) operation mode
The LOGGER function makes possible a record of the measurements acquired
for the upstream as well as the downstream.
