USER INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance has been designed exclusively for vacuuming floors, carpets, furniture
and fabrics. Do not use it for any other purpose.
Never vacuum live ash, splinters, sharp objects, or liquids.
Never vacuum lit matches or cigarette butts. Do not vacuum toxic material (ammonia, etc.).
Do not vacuum clean toner powder. The toner that is used in printers and photocopiers,
for example, can be a conductor of electricity.
Completely remove all the elements used for transportation and packaging.
Unplug the appliance from the mains before adding or removing any accessories or
performing any maintenance tasks.
Do not use the appliance above the height of the power cord.
1 Check that the dust-bag container (7) and filters (9-16) are fitted correctly.
See the following section (Cleaning and conservation).
A mechanical safety catch prevents the top cover of the vacuum cleaner from closing
if the dust bag is not fitted or if it is fitted incorrectly.
2 To open the bag compartment (6), press the dust bag container button (5) and lift the
cover.
3 To close the compartment, lower its cover and press down with the hand, in the
opening space, until you hear a click. If you cannot close the cover, check that you have
fitted the dust bag in the compartment and that the bank is fitted correctly.
