TROUBLE-
ShOOTING
If one of these problems occurs, disconnect the
external devices from the voltage converter and
disconnect the voltage converter from power.
Error/problem Possible cause
Device isn't working. Battery voltage below 9.5 V.
The power draw of the connected
device is too high.
Device operation was interrupted by
one of the safety systems.
„Error" LED [25] is The housing temperature is above
lit red. 60 °C.
The input voltage is too high;
Overvoltage protection
The input voltage is too low;
under-voltage protection.
The rated power exceeds the ma-
ximum total power rating; overload
protection.
Short circuit in the device
Remedy
Replace or charge the battery.
Disconnect the external device.
The maximum power draw should not exceed the power
rating of the voltage converter.

• Check if the voltage converter is cooled adequately
and the vents are clear.
• Let the device cool down and provide sufficient
ventilation.
Examine the input voltage.
Examine the connection and charge the battery.
use devices with a rated power which does not exceed
the power output of the voltage converter (see „Tech-
nical data").
Examine the connected devices. Do not use the concer-
ned devices.
