Recommendations

3.1. Cleaning agents

• Only use approved and especially developed cleaning agents, e.g. TICKOPUR, TICKOMED,
STAMMOPUR in order to obtain a high cleaning effi ciency. Tap water without any additives
does not clean suffi ciently.
• When using the cleaning agents you must always strictly observe the safety instructions in the
product information.
• Keep cleaning agents away from children and from persons not instructed for correct use by
means of the product information.
• Do neither ingest nor inhale the cleaning agents. Avoid any contact of your eyes and/or skin
with the cleaning agents.
• Replace used liquids and disinfectants, do not "freshen them up" with an added dose.
• Layers of dirt on the tank bottom or in the insets (abrasives and polishing agents, for example,
as well as other deposits) reduce the cleaning effi ciency. Empty the oscillating tank and clean it
regularly. Replace the cleaning liquid.
• The cleaning and contact liquids in the ultrasonic oscillating tank may not exceed a maximum
operating temperature of 100 °C.
• Distilled or deionized water without additives is unsuitable for ultrasonic cleaning directly in the
oscillating tank. They lack the necessary cavitation properties to form a uniform ultrasonic fi eld.
Irregular cavitation can damage the oscillating tank or the objects being cleaned. (You may use
distilled or deionized water in the inset beakers and non-perforated insert tubs.)
• Be careful when working with aggressive cleaning agents in insets or non-perforated insert
tanks; avoid splashing into the contact liquid or onto stainless steel surfaces; if necessary,
replace the contact liquid immediately, clean the surfaces and wipe them dry.
The manufacturer does not take any responsibility for damage of equipment or damages at
the parts to be cleaned caused by inappropriate cleaning chemicals.
