simmering.

function during Boiling Sensor function will cancel the function.
For Correct Operation of the Boiling Sensor Function:
Use water only (at room temperature).
Do not add salt, condiments or other ingredients until the
water reaches the boiling point.
Do not change the power setting of the surface cooking area
or remove or move the pot.
Fill the pot to at least 1/3 full (minimum of 1 qt [1 L]) and do
not fill the pot to the brim. See the following chart.
Do not use a pressure cooker on the surface cooking area
with the Boiling Sensor function selected.
For Optimum Results:
Do not use a lid on the pot being used in conjunction with the
Boiling Sensor function.
Do not activate the Boiling Sensor function if the surface
cooking area is already hot ("H" visible on display).
The quality of the pot used may have a bearing on the Boiling
Sensor function performance.
Important Information:
When the Bridge function is selected, the Performance Boost
and Boiling Sensor functions cannot be used. If the Timer is
set, it will be displayed alongside the surface cooking area
display.
The cooktop features automatic functions for each surface
cooking area. The available functions are shown next to the
selection key of each surface cooking area.
Each time an automatic function is selected, an indicator light
turns on next to the function and "A" appears in the surface
cooking area display.
The cooktop features automatic management of the use of
the Boiling Sensor and Performance Boost function settings;
therefore, in some cases it may not be possible to select the
Performance Boost function when the Boiling Sensor
function is selected on other surface cooking areas.
