IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND MAINTENANCE
The fancoil is connected to the electrical mains, an intervention by unqualified and untrained personnel could cause injury to
said worker and damage to the equipment and environment around.
ONLY SUPPLY THE FANCOIL WITH SINGLE-PHASE 230 VOLT ELECTRICITY
If other voltages are used , the fancoil could be damaged beyond repair.
DO NOT USE THE FANCOIL IMPROPERLY
The fancoil must not be used for animal breeding purposes.
AIRING THE ROOM
You are advised to periodically ventilate the environment where the fancoil is installed particularly in crowded rooms or if
there are gas appliances or sources of smell.
CORRECTLY REGULATING THE TEMPERATURE
The room temperature should be regulated in order to provide maximum comfort to the people in the room, especially if
they are elderly, children or ill, avoiding sudden changes in temperature between the outside and inside above 7 °C in summer.
In summer, a temperature that is too low causes higher electrical consumption.
CORRECTLY ADJUSTING THE AIR JET
The area coming out of the fancoil must not strike people directly; in fact, even if at a temperature that is higher than the room
temperature, it could cause a cold sensation and resulting discomfort.
CLEANING
To clean the indoor unit, use soft cloths or sponges that are wet with water at a max of 40 °C. Do not use chemicals or solvents
for any part of the fancoil.
Do not spray water on the outer or inner surfaces of the fancoil (it might cause short circuits).
Use a soft cloth to clean the remote control unit.
EXTRAORDINARY CLEANING
Caution: with may be done only by personnel with the specific technical skills after having removed the power from the
unit, the possibility to access the components inside the unit allows to carry out thorough cleaning of also the internal parts,
which is a necessary condition for installations in crowded areas or areas that require high standards of hygiene.
CLEANING PERIODICALLY THE FILTER
Frequently cleaning the filter guarantees greater operating efficiency.
Check whether the filter is very dirty: in this case, repeat the operation more often.
Cleaning frequently, removing the dust that has built up using a vacuum, the use of water and cleaning substances conside-
rably speeds up the electrostatic precharge deterioration.
When the filter is clean, refit it on the fancoil following the dismantling instructions in reverse order.
REPLACING THE FILTER
The electrostatic precharge of the filter is spent after two years of the box being opened, after this period it behaves like a
normal filter. For this reason replacement over two years with a new one is recommended (available as a spare part from
Aermec after-sales centres).
DURING OPERATIONS
Always leave the filter fitted to the fancoil during operation, otherwise the dust in the air will dirty the battery.
WHAT IS NORMAL
During cooling operation steam might escape from the fancoil delivery.
In heating function it might be possible to hear a slight hiss around the fancoil. Sometimes the fancoil might give off unplea-
sant smells due to the accumulation of dirt in the air of the environment (especially if the room is not ventilated regularly,
clean the filter more often).
OPERATIONAL LIMITS
Maximum water input temperature 80 °C
Maximum operating pressure
Minimum average water temperature
To avoid condensate on the external structure of the apparatus with the fan in operation, the average temperature of the
water must not be lower than the limits shown in the table below, that depend on the thermo-hygrometric condition of the
air in the environment. The above limits refer to fan movement at minimum speed. If the fan is off for a long time and cold
water flows through the coils, it is possible that condensate will form on the outside of the equipment you are therefore
advised to insert the three-way accessory.
