3.3.2 Mounting head and footboard to the mattress support
platform

CAUTION: Risk of injury
1. Lock the wheels  of the head and footboard.
2. Lift the mattress support platform  with 2 persons and keep the bed at a slight
angle.
3. Slide the attachments of the mattress support platform  in the holders of the head
and footboard .

3.3.3 Side rails

WARNING:
Risk of clamping - Be careful that your head and other body parts are
not pinched between the front of the side rails and the headboard.
Mount the side rails within the predetermined distances according to standard
EN 60601-2-52.
The horizontal distance between headboard and side rail must be smaller or equal to 60 mm
The horizontal distance between footboard and side rail must be greater or equal to 250 mm.
- Lock the wheels of the head and footboard.
Mounting side rails:
1. Loosen the star knobs  from the
plastic blocks .
2. Grasp the side rail that the round part of
the side rail is pointed to the footboard
 from the nursing bed.
3. Slide the plastic blocks  over the side
tube of the mattress support platform .
4. Retighten the star knobs .
