5.15.4.2 Hidden Weights placement
Application of stick-on weights on the left side
of the rim channel

— Clean the fi tting position before attaching the stick-
on weights.
— Fit the stick-on weight on the left side of the rim
channel (Figure 5-45).
Application of hidden stick-on weights
The measured values and the positioning arrows for
the two correction positions behind the spokes (Figure
5-45) are given on the right of the Indications Field.
— Turn the wheel to move one of the split imbalances,
on the right side (A, Figure 5-46) into the
compensation position (green arrows), then lock
the wheel with the brake pedal.
— Clean the application point before attaching the
stick-on weight.
— Apply the correction weight at the indicated point
(in the example 40 grams, A, Figure 5-46).
— Turn the wheel to reach the remaining split weights
compensation position on the right side, then lock
the wheel with the brake pedal.
— Having cleaned the area affected, apply behind the
second spoke the weight of the value indicated (in
the example 10 grams, B, Figure 5-46).
Note: Applying split weights does not involve priorities.
The operator can choose which to apply fi rst.
