8.1. MANTENANCE AND CARE AFTER USE
Perform the following maintenance operations
and care when you have finished working with the
machine to ensure the smooth running of this in the
future.
8.1.1. CLEANING
Warning! Always clean the machine after use. Not
carrying out proper cleaning can cause damage to the
machine and cause a malfunction. Whenever possible,
clean immediately after work.
Keep the machine clean, especially the area of the
fuel tank and areas close to the air filter.
8.1.2. CHECKING THE OIL LEVEL
Place the machine on a flat surface, horizontal and
uncluttered.

Unscrew the oil filler cap.
Wipe the dipstick from the oil with a cloth cap.
Insert the rod and screw the cap of the oil. Unscrew
the CAP again and check the mark left by oil on the
dipstick. The sign left by the oil must be between the
minimum and maximum marks.
If the mark is below the minimum add a little more oil
and recheck.
If the mark is above the maximum you will have to
remove oil from the crankcase. This tilt the mower
on side, so that the air filter is facing up, and let out
a little oil (put a container at the end of the tube to
prevent oil spilling from the machine or floor).
8.1.3. AIR FILTER
The dirt in the air cleaner will cause a reduction in the
performance of the machine.
