4. Electrical safety
The electric motor has been designed for one voltage only. Always check that the power supply corresponds to
the voltage on the rating plate.
This machine is double insulated in accordance with EN 60745
CAUTION:
To prevent accidents, make sure to turn the switch off and disconnect to the plug from the power receptacle.

The auxiliary side handle (3) has to be positioned on left side of the machine.
- Simply tighten the side handle (3) by turning it.
Installing/changing the diamond grinding cup (Fig 2)
CAUTION:
- The diamond blades can become very hot during working process. Before replacing, allow the blades to cool
down.
- When mounting and replacing diamond cutting discs, it is recommended to wear protective gloves.
* Installing:
- Untight the three screws M5x20 and remove the outer cover (12).
- Place the inner blade directly on the arbor (16) making sure that the direction of the rotation arrow of the blade
and the rotation arrow on the machine are in the same direction.
- Place as many spacers (13) as necessary to achieve the desired groove width.
- Place the outer blade in position making sure that the direction of the rotation arrow of the blade and the rotation
arrow on the machine are in the same direction.
- Place all the remaining spacers (13) on the arbor (16), on top of the outer blade, so that the arbor may be
tightened.
- Place the outer flange (14) in position.
- Screw in the bolt M10x30 (15) and press the spindle lock (9) in order to block the arbor (it may be necessary to
turn the arbor slightly to allow the lock pin to engage).
- Tighten the bolt (15), put back the outer cover (12) and fix it with the three screws M5x20.
* Changing:
- Simply reverse the procedure describe above.
- Clean the outer flange (15), the arbor (16) and all the spacers (13), and then check they are not damaged.
- Before switching on the machine, check that the diamond blades are mounted correctly and that they can turn
freely.
CAUTION:
- It is necessary to mount all the spacers (13) on the arbor.
- It is necessary to place at least one spacer between the two blades: they should not touch each other.
- Never actuate the shaft lock when the spindle is moving. The tool may be damaged.
Connecting the dust hose (Fig 3)
CAUTION:
- Dust from materials such as lead-containing coatings and minerals can be harmful to health. Touching or
breathing-in the dust can cause allergic reactions and/or lead to respiratory infections of the user or bystanders.
- Materials containing asbestos may only be worked by specialists.
- Provide a good ventilation of the working place and prevent dust accumulation at the workplace.
- It is recommended to wear a P2 filter-class respirator. Observe the relevant regulations in your country for the
materials to be worked.
