Battery maintenance
Charging during the season
The battery charges slightly during use, but it will probably be necessary to recharge the
battery several times in the course of a season - depending on the number of engine
starts/stops. Put it to charge for about 5 hours.
Battery storage
The battery must always be stored in a dry place and protected from frost during the winter
Never expose it to low temperatures. Completely charge the battery before storing it and
then place the lawnmower in a location that is not exposed to frost. Charge the battery 1-2
times during the winter in order to be sure that the battery retains its full capacity. Incorrect
storage can damage the battery.
For correct maintenance of the battery, above all in the event of long stopped periods, and
to recharge it, it is not necessary that you should remove it from its protection but you must
however follow the following rules:
1) Isolate the ignition.
2) Place the battery in a protected location, protected from humidity and heat.
3) Recharge the battery before using it, at ambient temperature for 5 hours
4) Re-connect the ignition before putting into service.
Change the battery
