5. The Manufacturer's Warranty excludes damage caused by mishandling, operating errors, misuse, external
influences, lightning strikes/power surges, modifications to the product and extensions. Also excluded are wearing
parts (e.g. batteries, fuses, rechargeable batteries and memory cards) and damage caused by wearing parts (e.g. if
batteries go flat). Shipping damage, consequential damage, and costs arising from down times and travel times are
also excluded.
6. The warranty is cancelled if repairs are carried out by unauthorised agents.
Initial Commissioning
Connect the telephone as shown in the figure under Connection.
Initial Setup using the Telephone
Requirements:
• Internal telephone numbers configured on the PBX
Follow the instructions on the telephone.
Note: The MSN is the internal number that has been set up on the PBX.
Configuration via COMfortel Set
Requirements:
• Java Runtime is installed (available on our website)
• COMfortel Set is installed (available on our website)
• Existing PC connection to a PC interface on the PBX (see the PBX manual)

Run the program.

Select Options > Interface and then select the interface you are using (for
example, IP network, to connect the PC to the PBX over the local
network).

Click Open > Telephone and select the required telephone.
4.
Enter the required PIN.
5.
Configure the settings you want.
6.
Now save the configuration in the telephone. Click File > Save >
Telephone.
