STEAMAX CB - 80 – EXPLANATIONS TO THE VAPING MODES
VW Mode (Variable Wattage)
VW mode supports atomizer heads in a resistance range between 0.05 ohm and 3.5 ohms. Depending
on the atomizer head used, the power output can range between 1 watt and 80 watts in VW Mode.
Bypass mode
Bypass mode is a direct output mode in relation to voltage. The output power is regulated automati-
cally in relation to the current battery status.
TC Mode (Temperature Control)
In TC-Ni, TC-Ti and TC-SS modes, the device supports heads with coils made of nickel (Ni), titanium
(Ti), and stainless steel (SS) with a resistance of 0.05 ohm to 1.5 ohms. In TC mode – depending on
the vaporizer head used – the temperature can be between 100°C and 315°C.
TCR Mode (Temperature Coefficients of Resistance)
In TCR mode (M1, M2, M3), the device supports head with coils made of nickel (Ni), titanium (Ti) and
stainless steel (SS) with a resistance range of 0.05 ohm to 1.5 ohms. In TCR mode – depending on
the head used – the temperature can be between 100°C and 315°C. This mode allows you to select
different temperature coefficients of the wire or to operate with different TCR values.
Please note that you must determine the resistance of the atomizer head you are using before
using it for the first time in TC/TCR mode.
