5.10. Dismantling and cleaning of gas outlet pipes.
When mounting the gas outlet pipeline, make sure it is well assembled, preferably sealed with silicone. If the
pipe has sealing joints, you must verify its good condition and replace it if necessary.
5.11. Cleaning the dirt which may be accumulated inside the stove, accessing through the back.
5.12. Cleaning the exchanger fins. Remove any dust deposited during the season. The lack of exchanger cleaning
may reduce machine performance.
5.13. Review the fireplace door joints.
Review in detail any imperfections which may cause an air inlet. Replace them if necessary.
5.14. Lubricate the screws and the glass door handle.
5.15. Lubrication of the brass tips of the endless shaft's upper and lower parts with lubricant oil; a small quantity is
enough for all the season. This operation is only recommended in the case of noise.
You get access to the lower tip from inside the hopper, you will see it clearly after removing all pellets.
In order to reach the upper tip, you have to dismantle the endless screw from the back side of the stove; this
shall be necessary only in case of noise as it has been lubricated at manufacturing, with a high quality
lubricant sufficient for many years.
Reducing motor of endless.
Brass fitting and lubrication point.
5.16. Clean the resistance driver's holder pipe.
IMPORTANT: After cleaning or fixing, make sure the stove operates correctly. Once you turn the stove off or
during the seasons when you do not use it, disconnect the stove to avoid electronic damages.
It consists in controlling the combustion air inlet and gas outlet; make sure nothing prevents normal
circulation (e.g. bird nests). The gas outlet must also be inspected for possible water infiltrations.
In addition, it is recommended to clean the base of floor of the stove, the back side of the stove that you
reach through the back grid or lateral doors, in order to take eventual dust away that might have stacked during
summer time.
6.
PROBLEMS AND RECOMMENDATIONS.
6.1.
Do not turn the stove on and off successively because this might damage the electronical components and
motors ~230/240V - 50Hz.
6.2.
Do not touch the stove while your hands are wet. Though the stove is equipped with ground plug, it remains
an electric machine that could cause electric discharge if handled incorrectly. A qualified technician only shall
resolve the eventual problems.
6.3.
Do not remove any screw of the zones exposed to high temperature before they have been lubricated
properly with lubrication oil.
CHECKING AT BEGINNING OF SEASON.
