Replacing the plastics insert
Immediately replace the worn or damaged plastics inserts (19).
Loosen the screws (St 4.2x9.5) of the plastics insert and remove
them.
Insert a new plastic insert and screw it tightly in place.
Replacing the recuperating spring
Immediately replace a worn or damaged recuperationg spring.
Remove the screw (12a) and the washer (12b) from the cover plate
(12).
Secure the tilt table (3) using the transport safety hook (6)
Remove the spring cotter pin (15b) and the washer (15c). Remove
the transport safety hook (6) and slowly lower the tilt table towards
the ground.
Remove the recuperating spring (15d).
Slide a new recuperating spring on the support pin (15a).
Lift the tilt table and guide the support pin through the bracket (B).
Slide the washer (15c) on the support pin.
Plug the spring cotter pin (15b) through the support pin (15a).
Re-attach the cover plate (12).
Transport
Remove mains plug before each transport.
Before each transport:
Push the tilt table (3) towards the saw blade up to the limit stop
(11).
The safety flap (1) must be closed properly.
Turn down the safety hook (6) until it engages.
Possible faults
Before each fault elimination:
Switch off device
Wait unitl the saw comes to a stop.
Pull out power plug
After each fault clearance, put into operation and recheck all security installations.

Jigging does not work
Machine stops while cutting
Burned spots at the cut areas
Saw vibrates
Recuperating mechanism of the jigging
device does not work
Decelaration too slow (time to dead
stop >10 sec.)

Different causes
Transport: Hold the handle (2), put one foot onto the axle and tilt
the firewood saw towards your body. In this position, it is easy to
move the saw.
Putting down: Put one foot onto the axle and carefully put down
the firewood saw.
Storage
Pull out power plug
Store unused equipment in a dry, locked place out of the reach of
children.
Before a longer period of storage carry out the following to extend the
saw service life and ensure an easy operating:
thoroughly clean the device
treat all movable parts with an environmentally friendly oil
Never use any grease!

Check the fuse.
Check cable, no longer use defect cable
Have motor or switch checked by an approved
electrician or replaced by original spare parts
Release the safety hook (6).
Press down the safety flap properly.
