5. Swing the pendulum cover back and loosen the screw (B).
6. Swing the holding plate for the pendulum cover down and
the pendulum cover up once more.
7. Push the saw blade locking device (24).
8. Slowly turn the saw blade by hand until the saw blade lock-
ing device catches.
9. Unscrew the hexagonal screw (38) for the saw blade (left-
handed thread!) using the supplied tool (A).
10. You can now remove the front saw blade flange (39), the
saw blade (4) and the rear saw blade flange (40).
11.
Clean the saw blade flanges (39, 40).
12. Position the rear saw bl de flange again.
13. Insert a new saw blade.
Pay attention to the correct running direction of the saw
blade: The arrow on the saw blade and the arrow on the pro-
tective cover must point in the same direction!
14. Position the front saw blade flange again.
15. The further assembly is now done in reverse sequence.
16. Check the pendulum cover for its correct functioning before
proceeding.
Replacing the carbon brushes
Replace the carbon brushes once they have been worn down to
approx. 4 mm.
1. Remove the carbon brush cover on the side of the motor
cover by turning it counterclockwise using a suitable screw
driver.
2. Remove the carbon brushes; note the position of the spring
retention (A).
3. Insert the new carbon brushes (37) observing the correct
position of the spring retention.
4. Replace the carbon brushes only in pairs.
5. Screw in the carbon brush cover again.
Replacing the table insert
Immediately replace a worn or damaged table insert.
1. Loosen the screws of the table insert (5) and remove them.
Insert a new table insert and screw it tightly in place.

Transport
Remove mains plug before each transport.
Before each transport:
− Position saw head vertically
− Turn rotary table to 0°
− Push saw head down and engage the transport locking
pin (34)
− Secure the pulling device!

Storage
Store unused equipment in a dry, locked place out of the
reach of children.
Before extended storage, please observe the following to
increase the service life of the device and to ensure smooth

operation:
− thoroughly clean the saw
− treat all movable parts with an environmentally friendly oil
Never use any grease!
Guarantee
We grant a guarantee of two years, commencing with the
day of delivery from the dealer's store, for material and ma-
nufacturing faults.
Warranty claims, even during the warranty period, will not be
accepted for damages due to incorrect handling or inade-
quate packaging during return of the devices or to a non-
observance of the operating instructions.
Faulty parts must be sent to our works, postage or freight
free. We reserve the right to decide upon free spare part de-
livery.
Guarantee work will be completed by us or an authorised
servicing agency. Guarantee damage can only be remedied
by another firm with our explicit approval.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of: Saw
blade, table insert and carbon brushes.
Guarantee is also granted if original spare parts are used.
