∙ Do not operate the appliance if it is damaged, e.g. it fell down,
or it is damaged in any other way.
∙ Repairs at the appliance, e,g, exchange of a damaged power
cord, must only be done by authorized service persons, to avoid
any dangers.
∙ The appliance becomes hot. Do not move the appliance until it
cooled down
∙
Attention! Housing get hot. Danger of burns! Do
not place the appliance on a sensitive surface (e.g. pain-
ted furniture) and keep a distance of at least 70cm to
burnable materials.
Operation
∙ Unwind the cable
∙ Only use the appliance according the instructions on the rating label. The red lamp
shines
∙ At the initial heating, the device can smoke slightly. After a few minutes the smoke
clears away.
∙ Preheat the device to maximum thermostat setting until the red light goes out. You
have reached the optimal temperature.
∙ According to the recipe, add small quantities of dough on the device.
∙ During the cooking time, the red light will turn off and on again. The thermostat
works.
∙ If the crepe is ready, remove it only with a wooden or plastic spatula so that the
coating will not get damaged.
∙ When the red light goes out, you can enter the next small quantity of dough onto
the device.
∙ The appliance is not suitable for roasting meat.
Basic recipe:
250g flour
4 Eggs
50g melted butter
500ml milk
Salt
Aroma (e.g. rum)
Vanilla sugar
The crepe batter needs a little flour and plenty of fluids. Mix well the milk with the
eggs and the flour. Stir in the melted butter and leave the dough to swell for at least
30 minutes. You need to spread the dough fast and thin on the hot plate by using the
wet wooden spreader.
