Before you start
Hanging hook
1. Attach the rope for preventing drop using such as a carabi-
ner.
 Do not detach the rope for preventing drop until you come
down to the ground.
Lifting hook
1. Use the lifting hook raised
2. When you want to temporarily release your hands from the
chain saw, you can hook the lifting hook to such as a carabi-
ner of the harness.
IMPORTANT
 If your chain saw falls from height or receives a strong im-
pact to the lifting hook (harness ring), please check the ring
and its associated parts are not damaged or broken.
 In case of being damaged or broken, do not continue using
the unit with the lifting hook (harness ring).
 If you have any doubt with regards to their condition, have
the unit checked out by your nearest authorized ECHO deal-
er.
