Safety requirements during usage:
∙ Only use the appliance at a safety plug socket. This should be
connected to a earth leakage circuit breaker
∙ Use the appliance only when it is assembled.
∙ Do not use the grill plate outside of the appliance and never
immerse into water.
∙ Never leave the appliance outdoors after usage.
∙ Fat and other grill food can spatter and drop. Therefore do not
place the appliance not directly on sensitive surfaces, e.g. Polis-
hed table tops, parquet or carpet.
∙ When using the appliance with stand, be sure that the stand is
standing stable, because the danger of burns when it falls
∙ Be sure that the cable is placed that way that it cannot be pul-
led or touched during usage.
∙ Always unplug the appliance and cool it down before the de-
vice is carried away. Never carry it when it is hot.
∙ Unplug the appliance after each usage or before cleaning.
∙ Always place the oil tray bellow the grill plate.
∙
The device must not be operated with charcoal or flam-
mable liquids.
Cleaning and maintenance:
∙ The divice should be cleaned after each use.
∙ The worse the plate is cleaned, the worse the anti-adehesive
effect becomes.
∙ Unplug the device
∙ Never immerse the thermostat unit in water!
∙ The plate should be cleaned with detergent and a brush (place
the plate in some detergent water to solve heavy dirt)
∙ Wipe the hood and the housing with a damp cloth and a little
bit of washing-up liquid.
