7 Cleaning and maintenance

Remove accumulator before cleaning and
maintenance
Wipe disinfection is suitable for motor housing, accumulator and all accessories, such as saw blades and
an open-end wrench. For this purpose, we recommend products with a pH-value within 9-10, e.g.
MediClean forte from Dr. Weigert.
It is important to ensure that the disinfecting liquid does not enter the interior of the motor.

7.1 The use of the cast saw.

The following measures should be performed once a week or more often if the saw is used
frequently:
Clean the cooling slots to ensure sufficient ventilation for cooling the motor.
Clean the motor compartment from the outside with a jet of dry compressed air.

7.2 The use of the autopsy saw:

The saw should be cleaned after every use.
An efficient cleaning can only be made if you remove the
saw blade. (Compare 4.1 Releasing the retaining screw/
removing the old saw blade). Remove the two head screw.
The retaining screws, fixation ring and saw blade have to
be revomed. Take off the saw head (compare fig. 10).

Warning!
Please use thick gloves to prevent injury when
handling the saw blade
For the machine cleaning the saw head should lie down
horizontal- compare fig. 11. The machine cleaning should
be effected with a standard cleaning program. The cleaning
agent must have a pH-value of <10, otherwise the surface
coating will be damaged.
