When transporting and handling the device between
the warehouse and the destination, take into account
the occupational health and safety principles for
manual transport operations which apply in the
country where the device will be used.
i)
Avoid situations where the device halts during
use due to excessive loading. This may result in
overheating of the drive elements and device
damage.
8
j)
Do not touch articulated parts or accessories, unless
the device has been disconnected from a power
source.
k)
Use insulated handles to grip the device. Ensure that
the metal tools attached to the device do not come
into contact with a live wire. Risk of electric shock.
l)
The specified vibrations emission was measured
using standard measurement methods. Vibrations
emissions may change if the device is used in
different surroundings.
m)
When changing attachments and rotation direction
make sure the device is switched off and locked.
n)
In order to prevent unintentional activation during
storage,
when
installing/removing
batteries,
replacing attachments etc. make sure the rotation
direction selector is in the middle position - locked.
4. Use guidelines
The cordless drill screwdriver is designed to drill holes,
drive in, tighten and drive out bolts, screws, etc. attachment
elements.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from non-

4.2 Preparing for use
Battery charging
Attention: To connect / disconnect the battery make sure the
device if off.
•
Press the lock button (9) and slide the battery out of
the device.
•
Connect the charger to a power source.
•
Connect the battery to the charger. A red light on the
charger will come on. The charger may be warm and
emit a buzzing sound. This is normal and does not
indicate incorrect operation.
•
Once the battery is fully charged, a green light will
come on the charger. Disconnect the charger from the
power source and reinsert the battery into the device.

Tool attachment
•
Before attaching/removing a work tool, ensure the
device is switched off.
•
Only use correct size work tools.
•
To install an attachment (drill bit or screwdriver bit),
grip the ring (3) and twist the chuck (2) anticlockwise,
until the jaws open sufficiently to insert the required
attachment. Insert the attachment into the chuck
jaws, then grip the ring (3) and rotate the chuck (2)
clockwise to firmly secure the attachment. To remove
an attachment, follow the above steps in reverse
order.
4.3 Device use
STARTING THE DEVICE
To start the device press and hold the On/Off trigger (10),
once the trigger is released the device will stop.
The illumination diode will come on automatically once the
On/Off trigger is pressed and will go off once the trigger
is released.
Changing direction
It is possible to change the revolution direction (clockwise/
anticlockwise). To select a given direction, slide the switch
(6) all the way to the right or left. To change spin direction,
make sure the device is off.
Positioning the switch (6) in the middle locks the device
against accidental activation.
Gear selection
The cordless drill screwdriver features a selection of gears,
which deliver various rotational speed ranges. To change
gears, move the gear selector (5) between positions 1 and
2. Operation with a setting between positions 1 and 2 may
damage the device. Change gears with the device switched
off.
Setting torque
The device has 18 torque settings for driving and 1 for
drilling (the highest torque setting). To change, rotate the
adjustment ring (4) until the required setting is aligned with
the indicator (13)
Select a torque to match the parameter of the work material.
Testing on another element made of the same material is
recommended, in order to determine the optimal torque
setting.
ATTENTION: Do not activate the device, when the torque
value is set between the highest driver settings and the
drilling settings. Operation in this position may result in
device damage.
Device functions
The cordless drill screwdriver features a dual function:
driving and drilling.
Driving function:
•
Install the required screwdriver bit in the chuck jaws.
•
Select torque setting.
•
Insert the tip of the screwdriver bit into the grooves
on the screw head. The screwdriver bit should be
perpendicular on the screw head.
•
Press the On/Off trigger gently to start the device.
Increase the speed gradually by pressing the On/
Off trigger further. Do not use excessive force when
driving.
•
Once the screw is in, release the On/Off trigger.

Drilling function
•
Set torque to a driver setting (14)
•
Install required size drill bit in the chuck jaws.
•
For drilling in metal, punch the hole position before
starting drilling to avoid the drill bit from slipping.
When drilling in metal, use lubricants (with the
exception of iron and brass).
•
When the drill bit is about to break through to the
other side of the workpiece, reduce pressure and
grip the device firmly.
•
If the drill bit snags during drilling, attempt to
remove it by changing the rotation direction to
anticlockwise (warning: kick back may occur).
4.4 Cleaning and maintenance
•
Before cleaning, remove the battery from the device.
•
Use cleaners without corrosive substances to clean
each surface.
•
Clean the vents with a paintbrush and compressed
air.
•
Do not leave the battery in the device, if it will not be
used for a long time.
•
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
