DOFFING THE FACE MASK
Open the buckles to release the head harness and loosen the straps.

Remove the face mask.

DISCONNECT THE BREATHING VALVE
Unscrew the breathing valve from the mask connection.

Disconnect the breathing valve from the breathing hose.

CLEAN AND DISINFECT
Clean, disinfect and dry parts as necessary after use.
Recommended cleaning and disinfecting agents:
Cleaning:
- Curacid PSA Rinse
Disinfecting:
- Curacid PSA Rapid
- Curacid PSA Ultra
FACE MASK AND EXHALATION VALVE
Disconnect the breathing valve from the face mask.

Push at the locking tabs on each side of the exhalation valve cover to release it.
2.

Remove the exhalation valve assembly [Fig. 10].
3.
Wash the face mask and the exhalation valve assembly manually in warm

cleaning fluid (maximum 55° C).
Rinse the parts in clean water (maximum 60° C).

Disinfect the face mask and the exhalation valve assembly. Follow the instructions

supplied with the disinfectant.
Rinse the face mask and the exhalation valve assembly thoroughly with clean

water.
Shake the mask to remove excess water and dry the mask and the exhalation

valve assembly.
Lubricate the pin of the exhalation valve sparingly with silicone lubricant

Place the pin of the exhalation valve in the hole in the mask connector and mount

the exhalation valve holder. [Fig. 10]
Place the face mask cover over the valve connection and push the locking tabs

into the face mask connection piece.
