INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION AND USE
FOREWORD
Thank you for having chosen this ironer. If
you follow the present instructions care-
fully you will certainly be satisfied with its
performance and guarantee.
In the event of claims or comments, the
reference text is the one written in the
manufacturer's native language, i.e. in Ital-
ian.

1. GUARANTEE

- The guarantee has a validity of twelve (12)
months from the date of purchase of the
appliance or of any integral part of it.
- The guarantee covers the replacement of
any part that is found faulty owing to manu-
facturing causes. It is applied directly by the
dealer.
- Labour costs are always to be met by the
purchaser. So are freight and packing costs,
and transport risks.
- The guarantee is contingent on the return of
damaged parts, which must be sent CAR-
RIAGE PAID, along with all the relevant
information on the appliance: model, serial
number and fault of the machine the dam-
aged part was assembled into.
- The guarantee does not apply to machines
that have been misused or have undergone
improper electrical connection, wrong or
inappropriate installation, noncompliance
with of the instructions for assembly and use
or tampering by unauthorised persons. The
guarantee is void when the serial number has
been scratched, removed or altered in any
way.
- The guarantee does not apply to the follow-
ing items: parts which are subject to ordi-
nary wear like electric components, motor,
coils, contactors, heaters and so on.

2. INTRODUCTION

The present booklet has been drawn up in a
simple and rational way, in order for the
reader to become familiar with the appli-
ance. Please, read this manual carefully and
keep it with the machine. The warning and
advice contained in this manual may not
cover every possible contingency. This is
why it is important to point out that common
sense, care and caution cannot be supplied
with the machine, but must be contributed
by those in charge of its installation, mainte-
nance and use. Whoever operates the ma-
chine must read this manual beforehand.
Should the appliance need repairing, the
manufacturer recommends the use of origi-
nal spare parts (as for spare part orders, see
paragraphs 8.4 and 10).
The descriptions and sketches given in this
manual do not bind the manufacturer, who
reserves the right to duly update them and/or
include any upgrading modification of parts
and fittings as deemed necessary for manu-
facturing or commercial purposes, at any
time and without previous notice.
3. INSTRUCTIONS, RESTRICTIONS
AND OTHER USES
During use as well as cleaning and mainte-
nance procedures, it is absolutely necessary
to make sure that the moving parts of the
appliance (motor, chain, etc.) are not reached
by tools or hands. The manufacturer de-
clines all responsibility for personal injury
occurring during use, cleaning or mainte-
nance procedures.
When using any electric or electronic appli-
ance, it is most necessary to comply with
certain basic rules. In particular: do not touch
the machine with damp or wet hands or feet;
do not use it while barefoot; do not expose
the appliance to the elements (rain, salt,
salinity, etc.); do not allow children or un-
qualified people to use the appliance without
proper supervision; do not iron fabrics that
are not heat-resistant, applying high tem-
perature; do not iron laundry thicker than 5
mm or unsuitable for this type of ironer, or
clothes containing humidity which exceeds
the recommended limit. Do not smoke near
the machine or during machine use. Do not
disable or ignore safety devices. Do not
leave objects on the hot parts of the appli-
ance, not even after switching it off, because
the press basin needs a long time to cool. Do
not clean the machine using direct or indirect
water jets, and therefore, install it far from
areas where water jets are used.
Apply ironing sprays far from the appliance,
as they could build up dirt and spots.
ANY USE NOT EXPLICITLY MEN-
TIONED HERE BELOW MUST BE
CONSIDERED AS HAZARDOUS. THE
MANUFACTURER
WHATEVER RESPONSIBILITY FOR
DAMAGE DUE TO IMPROPER,
WRONG OR UNREASONABLE USE.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR
THE INSTALLER
4. UNPACKING, HANDLING AND

STORING THE MACHINE

4.1. TRANSPORT AND HANDLING

To transport and/or handle the appliance,
carefully follow these directions:
When carrying the appliance into a building,
use the supplied pallet or a similar platform;
use a manual or electric forklift truck that
has the required hoisting capacity and is
suitable for handling such appliances (see
technical data). Check that the ironer can
surmount any existing obstacle (e.g. stair-
cases, doors, etc.). Never drag the appli-
ance by a side or any other part.
When shipping the ironer, use only its origi-
nal packing material to ensure sufficient
stability during transportation.
4.2. STORAGE
Should the appliance be stored for a long
period before being installed, keep it in its
original package, as this guarantees excel-
lent protection. Check that the ambient con-
ditions correspond to those mentioned in
paragraph 5.3. If the ironer must stay out of
service for a long period after use, make sure
it is disconnected from the electrical mains
and cover it with its original plastic protec-
tion bag.
4.3. UNPACKING
1) Prior to accepting the ironer from the
carrier, check that the package does not
show any damage. If it does, the machine too
may have undergone damage. In this case,
unpack the machine in the presence of the
carrier and sign the receipt with reservation.
The manufacturer assumes no liability for
any damage due to transport or wrong stor-
age.
2) Unpack the appliance with the utmost
care to avoid damage. Unscrew the transport
pallet from inside the right and left side
panels and then remove it.
DISCLAIMS
3) Make sure that the instruction booklet is
not left in the package and lost.
Packing materials (plastic bags, polysty-
rene, wood, cardboard, nails, etc.) represent
a safety hazard and consequently must not
be left within the reach of children. Keep
them for further transportation or long-term
storage (see paragraph 4.2). Before connect-
ing the appliance, check that the data on the
