INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Make sure that the plumbing and electrical connections are properly made by qualified personnel and that the
water tap is turned on.
2. The apparatus is equipped with an automatic closing device of the water. However, we recommend closing the
valve at the end of the workday.
3. The Kiara-Tec stops automatically in three cases: - when the water is above 15 microsiemens, when it reached
the maximum level and when the time set failed to reach the maximum level
4. The set time is an additional safety feature to prevent flooding.
5. The on-off solenoid operates on the max level of filling up the tank of the autoclave.

MAINTENANCE

The instrument requires the replacement cartridge when water is treated more than 15 microsiemens (the
sterilizer reports the water quality).
The cartridges must be replaced one at a time to not miss the original position of each:
1. Before replacing the cartridges OFF the sterilizer and close the valve (5282).
2. Disconnect the coupling (5337) feeding into a container and place it on the floor)
3. Proceed to the replacement of the cartridge paying attention to a possible leakage of water.
Cartridge life depends on water quality and water pressure.
It should be available the cartridges.
When you reach 3000 sterilization cycles and when the frequency of the change of the cartridge increase, it
is recommended to replace the system Osmotic (5484)
