MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Bar.
B 1 Side Arm
C 1 Brace
D 1 Side Arm
E 4 M12 x 40 x 1.25 pitch Bolts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers
F 4 M12 x 40 x 1.25 pitch Bolts, Lock Washers, and Flat Washers
G 4 M12 x 35 x 1.75 pitch Bolts, Lock Washers and Nuts
ZE 1 Electrical Plate Bracket.
ZN 1 Detachable Neck Kit. (4 - Black Bolt Head Covers in main Fastener Kit)
FITTING
1. Remove rear silencer from vehicle (front & rear support rubbers and attachment flange)
2. Remove aluminium exhaust heat shield and trim using the diagram below as a guide (Remove hatched area).
3. Re-fit aluminium heat shield and adjust its shape to allow it to be just trapped between Side Arm (D) and the side face
of the right hand chassis rail.
4. Ensure the edge of the trimmed exhaust heat shield is captivated between the chassis rail side and vicinity of fastener
holes for (F) in Side Arm (D).
5. Loosely assemble Side Arm (B) and Brace (C) to chassis rails securing to the underside of rail using fasteners (E).
6. Loosely assemble Bracket (C) to side face of left hand chassis rail using fasteners (F), and to Side Arm (B) using
fasteners (E).
7. Complete the assembly of Side Arm (D) using remaining fasteners (F).
8. Loosely assemble Cross Bar (A) to each Side Arm using fasteners (G).
9. Attach the Detachable Neck (ZN) and Electrical Plate (ZE) to Cross Bar (A) using fasteners supplied in the Neck Kit.
10. Lightly tighten fasteners (G & F) on both Side Arms.
11. Fully tighten remaining fasteners, starting with (E) on each Side Arm.
12. Fully tighten fasteners (G)
13. Re-fit exhaust silencer.
Recommended torque settings:
Grade 8.8 bolts: M8 - 24Nm, M10 - 52 Nm, M12 - 80 Nm, M14 - 130 Nm, M16 - 200 Nm
M12 – 120Nm, M10 – 70Nm M8- 35Nm
