Removing and Inserting the Dust Container
Use
CAUTION!
■
The openings on the device must not be blocked to ensure that the motor does not
overheat or suffer damage.
■
Never hold the nozzles close to parts of your body or animals during use and do not
place your hands inside the nozzles. They could become stuck to the device/injured.
Should the vacuum cleaner become stuck, switch the device off immediately.
■
Only switch on the vacuum cleaner once you have made sure that all parts are com-
pletely fi tted and the dust container and the fi lters are inserted correctly (see the "At-
taching and Detaching Accessories" chapter and "Cleaning and Storing the Device"
chapter, "Cleaning the Filter" section). Never start using the vacuum cleaner without
a fi lter!

Always switch the device off fi rst and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket before
you attach or remove any accessories!

On no account should the device be used to suck up the following:
– Liquids or wet substances (e.g. wet carpet shampoo)
– Glowing ash, cigarette ends, matches, etc.
– Infl ammable or explosive substances
– Very fi ne dust (e.g. concrete dust), ash or toner
– Pointed, hard objects such as large pieces of broken glass
1. Attach the nozzle you want to the device (see the "Attaching and Detaching Acces-
sories" chapter).

To adjust the length of the telescopic tube, slide the catch
on the telescopic tube in the direction of the arrow. The
inner tube piece can now be moved.

Removing: Press the dust container release button (1) and
pull the dust container (5) off the motor unit (4).
•
Inserting: Place the locking lugs on the dust container into
the appropriate notches in the motor unit. Then press the
dust container into the motor unit until it is heard to click
into place.
